The Pedelty Leadership Model

The Pedelty Leadership Model is a flexible, customized approach that guides clients through the assessment, design, development, and implementation of strategies for change. Pedelty can enter a client’s transformation initiative at any stage, from inception to execution, and guide the organization to the next level.

The Pedelty Leadership Model is a multiphase process designed to assist clients in the development of an actionable strategy.

  • Phase One: Assessment
  • Phase Two: Vision
  • Phase Three: Strategy
  • Phase Four: Vital Few Objectives
  • Phase Five: Plan of Action with Critical Iniatives
  • Phase Six: Organizational Alignment
  • Phase Seven: Monitored Implementation & Continuous Strategic Thinking

These steps help to create a shared understanding and commitment among all members of an organization. Regardless of when Pedelty joins a strategic initiative, some level of assessment is typically required. A review of relevant documents, along with select one-on-one, private and confidential interviews of key contributors, helps by bringing fresh, unbiased eyes to the process. By combining our insights with those of key stakeholders, we gain a deep and thorough understanding of the current situation.

Each of the phases interweave and interconnect; many include facilitated planning sessions. Our master facilitators can take the most complex issues, dissect them, and guide a process that leads to resolution. Under their guidance an environment is created that allows people to break from past experiences and biases, and tap their imaginations to formulate strategies to achieve the vision and what “can be.”

No two Pedelty planning sessions are ever the same. Each is custom-tailored to meet the client’s individual needs. We look for the best ways to optimize existing talents. Our methodologies allow teams to organize thoughts as a group and work effectively to create achievable plans of action.

The concept of teamwork is brought to life, where the meaning of collaboration is experienced firsthand. The end result is often a Plan of Action (often referenced as a Company’s Annual Business Plan) with specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and tangible goals and people with assigned responsibilities and accountability.

It is the premise of The Pedelty Leadership Model that top management is primarily responsible for these critical elements and that when attended to properly, and with a high level of focus, they will lead to sustainable, profitable growth and success.
